Our mission is to make joyful outdoor learning accessible to every child, regardless of circumstance.
At Riverside Forest School, we believe children need meaningful time outside — time to move, wonder, create, build friendships, connect with themselves and the natural world, and experience the deep sense of belonging that comes from being part of a community.
Our forest school community is growing, and we’re incredibly grateful to have reached capacity for the 2026–2027 school year. With that growth, though, come growing costs: more school pickups, more snacks, more supplies and materials, and the everyday expenses that make our program possible.
It’s deeply important to us that Riverside Forest School nourishes families rather than adding to their burdens. We want to keep our program affordable and accessible while continuing to provide children with an experience that is rich, joyful, and meaningful.
Become a Community Partner
We’re looking for local businesses and organizations who believe in children, nature, education, and strong communities to partner with us in making that possible.
Community Partners help support the real, everyday costs of Forest School — things like transportation, insurance, snacks, learning materials, outdoor supplies, and access for families who might otherwise be unable to participate.
